Properties:

Melamine cyanurate, also known as melamine cyanurate, is a nitrogen-containing, halogen-free, environmentally friendly flame retardant, the product is a white microfine powder, which is economical to use, highly efficient, excellent electrical and mechanical properties, non-discoloring, low smoke, low corrosiveness. At the same time it is safe for users, good compatibility with the environment, good thermal stability, very suitable for material processing.

Its flame retardant principle: melamine cyanurate (MCA) sublimation and heat absorption to reduce the surface temperature of polymer and eliminate air, can accelerate the dissolution of droplets, thus taking away the heat and combustible materials, change the course of thermal and oxygen degradation to make it quickly carbonized to form non-combustible carbon, these carbon due to expansion of the foam and cover the surface of the substrate to form a layer of isolation, isolation of the contact with the air, as well as combustible materials escaping, which effectively prevent the material from continuing to burn, and at the same time, the decomposition of the resulting carbon to form an isolation layer. At the same time, the non-flammable gas produced by decomposition makes the material expand to form an expansion layer, which can greatly reduce the thermal conductivity and is conducive to the self-extinguishing of the material from the fire.

Applications:
